Know What You Are Taking On Before You Commit

Professional advice on your freehold or leasehold acquisition

Taking on a building is the point at which most of the risk is fixed, and it is usually the point at which the operator has the least information. We survey the building properly, identify what is wrong with it and cost putting it right, so the number you are negotiating against reflects what you are actually buying.

We coordinate all necessary technical surveys, including electrical appraisals, drainage condition reports, and other due diligence. On leasehold acquisitions we also review the repairing and reinstatement obligations you would be inheriting.

Building Surveys

What a survey tells you

Our detailed building surveys give you what you need to understand a property's condition, deal with problems before they grow, and spot where value can be added. That includes:

Assessing the condition of existing stock and advising on future planned maintenance and maintenance budgets

Supporting your growth strategy by making sure you understand a property's full condition and any inherent risks before committing to a purchase or a leasehold acquisition

Our independent experts are experienced across all types of construction and are ready to give you qualified advice, supported by our cost consultancy team where required.
